I’m really glad he was able to see her grandmother when he looked at her. Just because she has a different hair and eye color doesn’t make her any less a granddaughter. It felt refreshing since I’m so used to stories about how characters who don’t have the exact same hair and eyes as the ‘beloved’ family member, their immediately seen as lesser.

I also love how quickly she tricked the grandpa and wrapped him around her finger. She’s smart. You always wanna get on your in-laws good side.
