I'm proud of myself not to make a hasty judgement to brand Cedric's mother as "bad" though I'm not saying that she's "good" either.
His family is just eccentric... Well, Dylan's family is also eccentric and unique.

Most comments from the previous chapters are like
"Yay! The evil mother in law has arrived"
I wasn't sure cuz the mother came to Cedric first instead of Dylan

Dang that plot hole just blew wiiiiide open. Chapter 1 page 6. They only had sons........ yep - looks like "mommy" is a trap.

@SGR Either they initially only had sons and by the time one of them had a daughter it was too late (both sons already got married), or it's as you say. It'll be interesting to see which one it is.
