For Each Retweet, Two Straight Girls Who Don't Get Along Will Kiss for One Second

@yagami_liedto Those are some incredible mental gymnastics to make the score all about politics. Plenty of yuri like this is rated highly. It's just not a good "manga". The author jumped on a lazy trend for likes on Twitter and still managed to execute it terribly. The parameter of "doing something for x seconds" doesn't even make sense for manga, but if the author was going to even try and follow through there's no way they would have made it this short by 1) changing the rules immediately and 2) giving an excuse like "that panel lasted a really long time, btw". The premise of forcing straight people to make out is kinda shitty, but it's not why this was reviewed badly. It's because the author is a lazy piece of shit / attention whore.

@Hamin @JohnJRenns I'd love to hear why you think this deserves a good score.

Nooooo just when I thought itd continue, its marked complete once again fuccccckkkk

@mommunism lol i didn't say it was good? idk it impressed me sorely for having an ending at all which most of these don't have precisely cause they're just trend followers. that's an indication to me the author did have some sort of direction they had in mind when they made the first post. again i don't think it's a particularly good manga but the score just shocked me because Mangadex doesn't really give a shit whether a work is a "good manga" or not, so this seemed like the kind of manga they would get behind without any thought. it's literally just something you read to turn your brain off, which admittedly what a lot of yuri manga that are aimed at straight guys are

Man, people complaing of low score made my day.
What do you rank this shit, an 8? Please have some judgment.
It has a 6 becuase its was funny and has yuri, that is all.

@Hamin Typical. Quick to complain about scores but too lazy to have any convictions of your own.

@JohnJRenns "lol i didn't say it was good" - Holy shit, the irony. Reread my comment. First of all, I didn't ask why it's good, I asked why you think the score should be good. Secondly, you said this was miles better than most ecchi yuri, so you obviously thought this was good relative to the genre (and good is a strictly relative word). If your final thoughts are that MD users are typically brainless monkeys who will rate anything lewd highly, I'd like to agree with the user description (see Hamin), but smut and smut-lite is bombed regularly.

6 is not a fair point for this. Thing is this is not underrated. Just the other manga is overrated.
a lot of manga here have very high score, as long as it go for the reader's comfortable zone. So pretty much unless a work straight up disturbing or make the reader uncomfortable, Most of manga will have 8 or higher even it is as lazy, So i understand where some people complain come from.
So the question is why this have so low score ? I think because it too short. try to upload this as a oneshot. I bet the result will be different since reader expect what they will get

@yagami_liedto What truth? You're telling me to argue "actual points" when your comments are full of nothing but baseless speculations that can't possibly explain all the successful yuri on this site. You even countered your own argument by bringing up other work by the same author, since it's rated far higher as well. Nobody wants to climax to lazy Twitter art. I rated this low as soon as I saw the title, and I didn't check on it until I saw the end tag.

@mommunism alright my dude. i guess you win. maybe you should chill now. for me there is zero semantic difference between asking someone why they thought a work was good and why they rated that work with a good score, two things that i don't think i did. but i did lead myself into implying i held the former opinion so that's on me. when i was saying it's miles better than other works of its ilk, the way i meant it was like the difference between a 3/10 and a 5/10. but i guess i shouldn't be defending this manga anyway. i'm not sure why i'm doing that. it's a completely inoffensive but also unremarkable work, that only impressed me for like 5 seconds for having a "completed" published status (just a bias of mine, i have specific aversion to manga that clearly never wants to have an ending)

@yagami_liedto I don't know if you're ESL or what, but it's pretty fucking obvious that "your comments are full of nothing but baseless speculations" refers to everything. There isn't a specific part that's baseless, it's all the claims you've made so far. You had three in your original comment and several implicit claims in your second comment like the notion that I'm here to climax (lmao) or that it was an opinion (which doesn't even make sense in context).

Again with the ESL thing (at least I hope to god you are), "what truth" is a very common rhetorical response. I'm saying your claims aren't true. The couple in the author's other work was bait at best in the OC. Most people I have seen assumed they were straight, since the writer is notorious for baiting. There's still a ton of highly rated solidly straight->gay manga on this site. The whole "we're both girls, though" trope is in like every other manga.

You're free to defend this lazy work, but at this point I'm over it. It doesn't take a genius to realize it's rated poorly because its sole purpose was to beg for attention on Twitter, without even putting in the minuscule amount of effort that was promised in return for the attention. If you really want to pretend people are offended by gays and/or sexual fluidity on a site full of nyotaika and chronic gender rotation plots, go ahead. It's not an argument that's worth anybody's time of day. I shouldn't have bothered to address it.
