Fragtime - Vol. 2 Ch. 17

Got me curious after the anime was announced, so I decided to read it. Honestly this is such a... crappy manga. Feel like Haruka's character is so forced out in the end. I think there's so much more to explore with the time stop ability, and it would be smart to use it to expand on the side characters, like the pantyhead on ex-bf scene. They even decided to suddenly name that blonde friend of Haruka in the LAST CHAPTER because why not. It's a little frustrating to read whenever Haruka decided to go 50/50 on what she wanted to do, and when it was finally revealed, the reason was so bad that's it's just screams edgy teen syndrome. Maybe should have expanded her background with her family, like how Nozoki Ana did on Emiru's background, instead of rushing the ending.

This is such a letdown.

@Xystus
I agree, i think the anime going to be longer if it's 20 mins long they can fix some stuff in the story.

Either way it was quite a letdown,
The conflict was too weak, the character is undeveloped, the finale is also disappointing.

If they decided to do 10 mins then i can assume this thing going to be a trainwreck either way.

There's a better Yuri Manga than this..

Surprisingly, I came to like this theme of supernatural ability fading because a reason is no more and the like!

I already knew this wouldn't be a great manga before starting it but it was still a fun quick read

hmmm... no explanation on whatsoever how/why she obtain that kind of power but fuck yeah...
yuri is the best.

I mean for 17 chapters you can't cram in a whole lot. Definitely felt like the pacing was off, but hey it was a decent read.
Both characters had the personality of a tea brick, but the story wasnt bad by any means.

Ending felt kinda rushed but I'm looking forwards to the movie/ova adaption that will get its bluray release in a couple days.

i thought at first bc of the drama is kinda giving me some wee woo flags its gonna end with an sad ending but thank god it didnt

idk I liked how the ending turned out! Both of them avoided confronting their fears in different ways, but by this chapter they were both forced to come out of their shell and face their feelings head-on, with nowhere to back out, what with the whole school watching. And they actually came out as lesbians, which is so rare! All in all, so satisfactory! Now they're both more open, happier, and can fully participate in life instead of just avoiding all the bad parts.

I know that her power fading was a great thematic choice, but also it's a shame they can't have raunchy sex in public while time is stopped. That would've been extremely based.
