Fujiwara-kun wa Daitai Tadashii - Vol. 3 Ch. 14

If they were truly close as what karen claims them to be then shouldn't they be dating since then???...the fact that they aren't means that they weren't really close to begin with...being school mates in middle school doesn't make them close...she's the "outsider" which she makes mojako turns out to be...

Is it bad and am I the only one that is actually rooting for the 'other' guy in this manga? >_>

@Alenas Someone else mentioned preferring the second guy in the series comments, but I find him kinda lame. His forthright confession was refreshing though.

screw karen. she's a cunt. absolute cunt. "saying that you have private matters that you can't talk about is much more of a personal attack than saying that there are private matters you can talk about"

Fujiwara is kind of frustrating between the coldness and the gentleness lately. He’s hugging his friends girl for several pages here. Even though when it came to Iwata and his girl he kept out. Hands off, get your act together first. Shirotaka’s light take on things is definitely refreshing after spending time with Fujiwara or Hitsuji’s endless thoughts. I don’t relate or empathize with Karen because I know nothing about her and she doesn’t seem to care deeply about her friend or Fujiwara.

@Cynn But Shirotaka explicitly told him that he was just going to mess around with her for fun. And Hitsuji blurted out that stuff about her being the sort of girl who should be played around with that Shirotaka told her.

Fujiwara knows something's up, and that Shirotaka was just doing it to mess with him.

@laiseran
Shirotaka didn't explicitly tell him that it started out as just for fun to tease Fujiwara until ch 17. At this point, Fujiwara's antennae are up because Hitsuji blurted her being-played role the jealousy plan. He continues to be close and sweet to her, and then when she responds to it, he goes cold because of his own rules, and agrees that he is in no position to say anything about whatever relationship her and Shirotaka have. None of that (her feelings about his warm/cold treatment , Fujiwara's struggle with his own feelings, his friends' supposed relationship) stops him from hugging his friend's girlfriend. Even if he thinks something is up, it doesn't seem like he's doing any of this to guard her from, say, being played his friend, it just seems like he's doing whatever he feels like doing.

Why has no one mentioned in this chapter about the part that they are dating... like how they should just let the patrolling be shirotaki and hitsuji on both times since they're dating.
