If one moment of misery is enough to qualify you, maybe. we don't know the general life circumstances of even the sister so we can't really make that call. the MC did because it was five years of mental self-abuse. Honestly, the whole premise feels suspect. Why does a random barmaid know and exposit all this? She's poster girl for a bar, not a guild master with international connections, so excepting the "hero" how does she know all this shit. and the contacts too, surely that sort of enchanted gear is neither cheap nor widely needed so why does she have them and just hand them over freely? I REALLY hope there are actual answers to this and it's not just bad writing.

By the way guys, Im pretty sure that they said before that before or during what was happening to his sister prayed for him to keep on living after what has happened to her, and in turn the god she prayed to probably gave him the maximum survival rate blessing before he reincarnated. I dont think it was hinting towards his sister being the god but i could be wrong, i know as much as yall.

well, considering how the story was framed so far she was likelly given the role of meeting him when he was reborn and giving him the glasses from a god or some type of guild of reborn people.
she said she "have to give him the glasses" and "that is how everyone sees the world", so they might not really be anything rare.

consider :
1. she knew he was going to apear there. who have the power to predict that ?
2. she is also an outworlder, not some random person from this world. so she is relatable and a good fit for the role as his tutorial to this world.

as for her info dumping on him, most is likely is public knowledge. But it is still knowledge from other countries. from that we can determine that the world likely have a pretty good information system or she is REALLY well informed. Considering she's a barmaid, she is likely part of some type of guild or was given that information by someone who is in the business of information....or it's just bad writing....

for now we have to suspend our disbelief until we get more info it's only the second chapter after all.

@Goldenzeal I interpreted "that is how everyone sees the world" to mean that they naturally saw things that way. That's why I said it wasn't widely needed. That said, we now have a potential chekov's gun in them being super useful and later coming out at a critical point to fuck things up.

Honestly, when I say the whole thing feels suspect, I meant more along the lines of The Truman Show. Things seem too perfectly set up. At best Towa is a god and trying to set up a life where her brother can be happy again and break that curse. At worst, miserable people tend to do miserable things and a fresh start doesn't change trauma and nasty personalities born of pain so this world could also be full of monstrous people that were brought over to a world by a god who likes to watch things fly apart.


That said, it doesn't feel like an edgy revenge fic (ironically) or blatant wish fulfillment either, so it's not a matter of suspension of disbelief. It's more I see a lot of potential plot threads that could lead to some very interesting places and I really hope they aren't gonna spend the next umpteen chapters being completely ignored.

@Thatguy553, the speech bubble in the bottom-left of page 8 is blank. From the raws, she is only saying "Kurono Towa-san?" so at least it wasn't a plot detail that was left out.
