@MinecraftNoob oh he's defenitely evil and because he seems "normal" he's going to be a next lvl kind of sick evil fuck. they already did cannibal so i doubt he's going to be that but with the way he looked at the chopped up little kids last chapter i'm going to assume he's a pedo necrophiliac that fucks the chopped up little kids or something equally fucked up. that's basically the formula the series has followed so far, the more normal they seem the more evil they are.

@criver yea it's basically a "monster of the week" manga, with a lot more edge.

I can enjoy that too, the problem is how irredeemably evil the characters are, they are flat with no redeeming features like i'm all for evil scientists doing things for the greater good, losing sight of the good on the way.

Or simply one that does this horrid stuff because they want to perfect something and don't care about the cost.

These guys are neither, they don't have any grand vision or real drive, just doing evil because it's evil, it will get stale real quickly unless the "hero" can make things interesting, so a lot of weight in this manga is placed on the performance of the "revenge" rather then the actual characters that get it, it would be a lot better if it could do both but i didn't check this manga out expecting a masterpiece either so i guess low expectations mean I'm more forgiving for it's flaws.

First off, controlling the mangled corpse of a shitty villain you hated as like a bad ass zombie is kind of legit already, that had me hyped up especially with its entrance


Secondly and most importantly though. . . Flippantly going around while said zombie is fucking playing a trumpet all while the people you're terrorizing are stuck inside with no escape--this man has no chill and i love it

Except for the villains being villains just because - our MC is also putting more of a show than actually having revenge. This doesn't fit the psychology of revenge - it's just a farce to showcase his edginess.

While I am interested in seeing how the MC fucks over this motley crew of villians in his next grand act, I really hope after this arc is done he pays the princess another visit. She's overdue for one since she hasn't been humbled enough from his first visit, and it'd be better than introducing another villian-of-the-week type.

I don't really mind about the manga repeating the same pattern or character problem, I just enjoy seeing the upcoming despair and demise to this villain in which I guess this is all what this manga is about.

Just think of this manga as a dose of edgy and gore manga you need after getting tired of fluff or shonen manga stereotype.
