@DLRevan ive heard that drowning is a pretty peaceful way to die actually, your body shuts down quickly enough from the lack of oxygen, its mostly the fear from it. I think, it was reported that the worst way to die is to burn to death. burned at the stake specifically because its not a fast way to die, you feel your blood boil and your flesh cook, all your nerves are screaming in pain simotaneously. you would be lucky to pass out from the pain before actually dying.
honestly of all the fantasy types comedy rank the highest and revenge plot the lowest but I dunno this has both the best and worst element. At least he's not like the revenge healer whos kinda just purposely letting ppl push him over so he can "revenge" them. This guy is actively going through his revenge and not just sitting around and wasting time.
What a fucking waste of a chapter. Flashbacks of shit we've all seen before. Just get to the part where he makes them march a death march, never stopping, never getting water, while they get picked off, one by one, by the monsters that his soldiers had protected these villagers from.
@Capt_Gigglepants
You've heard wrong. The overwhelming pain from being burned alive will cause your brain to go into shock. But when you're drowning, your lungs burn when they fill with water. Your entire body spasms violently in a desperate attempt to expel the water from your lungs. Every cell in your body is screaming for oxygen. You're conscious right until you die. The last thing you feel is your body tearing cells apart, salvaging oxygen wherever it can, in a last-ditch effort to stay alive just a single second longer.
That is, of course, if you're conscious when you went underwater. If you were unconscious, you'll wake up just in time to realize that you're dying.
DailyBacka3 the pied piper, he got hired to kill rats, did the job but did not get paid so he got rid of the kids in retribution. moral of the story? Pay your bills
