@JairDJH Kaifuku Jutsushi No Yarinaoshi and Nidome No Yuusha are both pretty over the top and similar to this one. TBH I'd classify all three as torture porn.

There's plenty of revenge but most aren't very good. For some better stories the typical recommendations are Berserk, Rising of the Shield Hero, Vinland Saga, Übel Blatt.

Some others in no particular order are Arifureta (turns into harem pretty quick), Oldman*, Gleipnir, White Blood, Save Me*, Dear Boy*, Dokgo*, Legend of the Northern Blade

* = completed

If I recommended two they'd be Übel Blatt and Save Me, with the former being medieval swords and sorcery and the latter being modern day with more emphasis on the psychological.
