Futari Ashita mo Sorenari ni - Vol. 1 Ch. 11 - Sociability is Important, too

Eh, someone who cheats in this kind of situation would probably end up cheating on you either way (and you'd have to be really dumb to cheat in such a "suspicious" situation). There never really is a lack of opportunities to cheat, and that's why trust is so important.

Having said that, taking someone who already has a partner to this kind of event is a bad move either way because someone will feel left out in the end anyway (the person in a relationship and the one they are "paired" with).

come on short manga like this don't need a fucking drama i need a fluff
@orochijes sea japan or what ever around asia im pretty sure we use 00:00-23:59 instead of am , pm

So let me guess. He's a total lightweight not used to drinking, drank too much, passed out, and is currently lying on annoying-guy's living room floor.

Just a bit more clarification: a goukon is a fairly light social event. You can pair up and date and some people do go for that in mind, but first of all, it's just a social mixer where getting to know each other better is just as valid a goal as hooking up. Not everyone is on the prowl at a goukon. It's said to have started with the university students in the Meiji (1868-1912) era where people in the same dormitory or class got together to deepen their friendship, although it has changed over time. Anyway, you match the numbers not because you expect people to pair up but as a courtesy. Kind of like inviting some girls when you're hosting a party so it doesn't become a sausage party. So it's more like going to a party without your girlfriend (with her permission) than anything you guys are imagining. That's why Rio talked about not wanting to make it look like she's telling Yuuya who he can and cannot hang out with.

If I were him, in that very same situation, I wouldn't have gone. After all, it was obvious, from his own words, that he didn't want to go.

Unlike this spineless male mc, I would've just told my co-worker that "not interested, ask someone else" and if they would've kept on pestering, I probably would cut any ties I have with him outside of work. No point associating with an idiot who doesn't understand to stop when told so.

HOW CAN YOU CLIFF US LIKE THIS PAUL? WHAT THE HELL PAUL? YOU CAN'T JUST DO THIS PAUL! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE PAUL! YOU'VE A JOB THAT'S STILL UNFINISHED HERE PAUL! PAAAAUUUUULLLLL!!!!!

Let me just repeat this.
You guys have some serious trust issues.
- mangamerchant, 2019

If he's going to cheat, he had a lot of chances to do that, social event or not.
And this doesn't look like the type of manga for that kind of thing.

Edit: Thanks for the clarification, Paul. I think that should be in the credits or something. I didn't know what "goukon" was until I read the comments.

@Siikalahna "Muh spineless" no one who whines about betas and spineless manga characters on a pirated manga website has anything to back up their claim of, "IF IT WERE ME". You just look like a childish diot.

Guys... I know y'all must've been hurt by many shitty NTR manga twists... But this manga isn't like that. fucking chill. The dude was probably just trying to help his friend out who helped him out, so I don't really think there's any need to call him spineless. If his friend didn't cover for him before then it's more likely he wouldn't have done it

Dare ye not taint this vanilla manga with your wicked NTR schemes, people...

I give my trust to the author of purity that this manga won't lead to such heresy.
Deus Vult my comrades.

lol. this story isn't like that, but if he cheats, then he cheats.
