Bro like maybe 20% of people on this site have read an actual NTR series. Most of them use it as a buzzword.

Honestly, people overuse NTR as a term and it's meaning has basically diluted. Some rival dude doesn't make a series NTR. ACTUAL NTR would have him STEAL her. Hence the whole point of the NTR genre. That's why most of those stories revolve around blackmail, rape, hypnosis.

This series is happy go lucky as fuck, and it's obvious that drama will get resolved in like 2 chapters and them falling in love even more afterward.

@dojinshi You know what, regarding the first reason, that's a fair point. I didn't think about it that way. But I still can understand the second reason why some people would be a little upset. (I don't agree with the people overreacting and calling this NTR bait when though it's obviously not) I can see why people would be really annoyed seeing this kind of drama suddenly appear in a manga that completely revolves around wholesome fluff and then just end on a cliffhanger like that. I'm sure alota people know for a fact that this isn't gonna be a serious thing and will very likely end well, but still, it's just kind of annoying nonetheless seeing this particular kind of thing show up in a manga of this nature

The only thing i'd disagree about is this being something that 'suddenly appears' the ex was mentioned a few chapters ago, and everyone should have expected that he would appear at some point, its like a chekhov's gun situation.

Yes. This is exactly what I read this manga for. Cliffhangers ending on negative points.

This kind of confrontation should have happened earlier in the chapter with the resolution or reveal being at the end. So it being revealed who he is and leaving us with a curiosity and not misplaced (or rightly placed) anger.
