My wife has never been into diamonds, luckily for me. She mostly likes things without a stone, but if she's gonna go for a gem her favourite is probably garnet, that deep rich red. She thinks diamonds look boring, like sparkly glass--if you didn't know it was expensive, you wouldn't even want it.
