There had best be a good reason for him to think that he is the arbiter of who shall and who shall not even ask his friend out
 
@phoenixir, theoretically yes it could go 5 different ways. BUT this is a shoujo manga. And those usually go the love triangle route. girl loves that guy, then in comes another guy and makes her fall in love With him instead. you know how it Works. What I hope will happen here, is that "blond" hair guy is in love With his childhood friend, and the fmc and him fights over that guy.
 
This guy jumping the gun like wow 😂 Chill just cause she wants to get to know him better it's not like your friend will like her back for sure.
 
@xieshu yeeeeeeeees. i half hope for this to be yaoi vs shoujo, but i also hope she ends up falling for the blond guy :thonk:
 
Misono wants to...protect his popular childhood friend from fawning girls? Maybe he knows his friend has another real side and girls keep falling for his nice guy persona he puts on, and he's putting an early stop on it. Either way, chapter one got my interest.
 
Is there a Shounen Ai tag that we're missing? I also don't want her to end up with Misono-kun for some contrived reason either. I'm curious about what happens next but also super hesitant because this feels like a borderline waste of my time...guess I'll give it a few more chapters before I commit.
