While the MC is right in the sense that the two characters are stuck in the past and that they are different people from the year(s) before ,,,,,

The dude is totally in the wrong for blurting that shit out and the girl is correct when she says the MC doesn't understand him. There's obviously a reason why they broke it off with each other and honestly, MC can't say shit about "understanding him" when she's only known the facade he puts up (I'm so sure that the "him" that the MC knows is fake and that it's just all surface level stuff he shows everybody).

Honestly if this story did the twist we were hoping for in the beginning (the "ML has a thing for the 2nd lead rather than just a strong friendship), the story would've turned out so much better.

he was just using Urara to get back to her ex gf, and that's really unforgivable at least for me, I just lost my respect for him, even though he's an ikemen he's not really a bf material

Aiji seems like an ass. Good friend material (if people are into flirty friendships), bad boyfriend material. I'll only continue reading this until there is confirmation from someone that either Misono is ML in the end, or Aiji cleans his act up majorly. I'm not too keen on FL's reaction either. I know it's shoujo, but ugh. I still do love the art style, just wish the story wasn't so frustrating ; _;

I reread the first couple of chapters just now. What happened to that magic? Just feels like we’re trudging through the discovery of Aiji’s true nature and I’m not looking forward to their date at all as it came from an excuse for him to save face.

Ugh, I hate it when an author uses this clichéd development of 'I'm going out with her!' . And the girl, naive as can be, is still friggin lost in love and not getting upset at being used. She's clearly just a rebound and she doesn't even realize that, oh wait, she refuses to. Hah....
