I don't think it's that Kasumi doesn't want to explain their relationship with others, but that she doesn't know how. They were comfortable with each other from the very start, with Kasumi agreeing to share Sakurako's bed the first day they met. They're just meant for each other and neither can really explain why, it just is.

It's like trying to explain to someone else why you're attracted to one person but not another. It's impossible, you simply like one and not the other. Hell, it's possible to fall in love with one twin of a set of identical twins and not be attracted to the other one, even though they look the same and have similar personalities. How do you explain that to anyone?

Okay. After this chapter i say they are both clearly in love with each other. It felt like Kasumi also had to realize her exact feelings for Sakurako. They are already simply beyond the girlfriends thing, and are more like soulmates. But it didn't sound like they ever had sex. Not sure if the author want to leave a possible sexual relationship to the viewers imagination tho. But usually when two persons get THAT close for FIVE years straight, and if they are in love, there must be a desire for more than just snuggle up casually. Being that intimate with each other, making your partner feel good is just the next step.
