might be because I was watching EVAbridged literally 5 minutes before I saw this but I can't help but compare this to EVA. Does that bit better in my opinion, since they're actually present in the story and at risk.
Eh it's the kind of tragic plot twist you just see coming from miles away. :V
The kind of manga that tries so hard to be sad that it actually ends up feeling cheesy again.
Probably the main reason I don't care for tragedy as a dedicated genre.
