Generally, the gay tags haven't required that characters' feelings be reciprocated in order for the tags to apply, I think, so long as gay romance (even if it ends in failure) is central the work.

On the other hand, I'm switching it to shoujo-ai, because if this isn't shoujo-ai instead of yuri, then why do we even have both tags XD
