I think they might have changed how the beastmaster died for the manga. I seem to remember him losing control of the hydra after unleashing it and accidentally getting squashed, or something like that? Letting Ariane get her revenge is much more satisfying.

@MiiaBestWaifu I've been reading an interesting necromancer manga recently, its called Solo Leveling.
Its a korean manga and the MC doesn't get the necromancer occupation until sometime in the 40-50 chapters, but its still a really good manga, and I would recommend reading it if you also like loner protagonist.
