@dudewithmagic I guess it depends on many things.
For example, when I was in highschool my classmates often met a couple of teachers in the disco on weekends. It's not like the planned to meet, it's just that it was THE disco, so it happened. And they didn't actively try to stay away from each other or anything.
So, if there's multiple students the "risk factor" may be lower?

Also depends on the place. The multiple people disco situation up there vs one teacher and one student having lunch, or dinner.

And of course the country. In Japan there's a big club culture (as seen in all manga), and the supervising teacher usually joins for club events out of school. Nothing weird there. If anything, the problem here is that the club has only one member.
