Gal Gohan - Vol. 5 Ch. 32 - An After Party for Adults

"The moon is beautiful" (Tsuki ga kirei) can be use as words of confession for the opposite sex, mostly from guys to girls. This is the reason why Okazaki blushed at the end there and not because of the underwater confession.

Confession competition ? FFS.
That is insane even as a manga fantasy. How would that work? How would you get the "target " on stage? What would the signup process be? What could possibly more contrived?
Why would a writer, or an editor, let this idea get all the way to publication?
This series has become so dumb, and annoying.

I like that there's actually a sense of progress in this manga. I mean, not too much of it obviously, it's still designed to be a harem thing. But there's -some-.

Wow, apparently there are still people who overthink minor details to the point of dropping a series
If I had to put it in an english Gyaru dialect: "That's like seriously lame y'know."

@Corb Nope, definitely “Suki da yo” in the underwater confession. Considering the shape of Okazaki’s mouth and her usual speaking mannerisms, “da yo” would work better than “desu”, since “desu” implies a politer way of speaking, unlike “da yo” which is casual and fits Okazaki’s speaking patterns perfectly

Tsukigakirei

For those who never watched the anime do watch it. So simple yet so wholesome

For my imagination I think the teacher, sorry I’m really bad with names, realized what’s she was saying and decided to reply back in his way by saying the moon is beautiful which in Japanese culture is basically a way of saying I love you. But he decided to play it off Ashe was just saying it was beautiful, I think that sums up their relationship.
