Gal Gohan - Vol. 9 Ch. 58 - Try-Out Pancakes

I like her, too bad she didn’t join but at least we’ll see her sometimes once in a while

she really does smell like a wingman, getting excited about okazaki being PURE gyaru and literally saying nothing about yabachi
hope she is a wingman coz we need a change of pace from harem, really tiring

@ "@Ironclad I don't think they dislike her, but just like the main girl so much better"
and
@Ironclad "I never really understood why people dislike Fujiwara so vehemently."

I have to agree with Ironclad, in the past comments there were many negative comments about Fujiwara some even claiming if they saw her in the beginning they weren't even going to read the episode. I would have to say a minimum of 20% hated her while many similarly disinterested.

While it would be boring and we wouldn't have a manga based on opposite attraction, Fujiwara was the most similarly to Yabe.

Fuck Fujiwara.
What's the point in a harem dynamic when the male lead has issues with chosing either girl?
We already had a mature older woman type rival, that represented the "right" choice for Yabe, instead author ditched her for the sake of "Gyaru delinquent vs Teacher's pet" rivalry.
Fujiwara didn't bring anything new to this manga, and it's good she's gone.

She'll never fill the void Fujiwara left.

You guys really had to ruin this chapter for me with that 6 fingers stuff. I didn't even notice it and now it's making me cringe like crazy.

Man, some of you guys seem to think Yabe is really that easy, huh? Just falling for any random girl. She's obviously a wingman-kinda girl.

This is a bit different from how my family makes pancakes (based on my Scottish grandmother's recipe). First, not only do we not use a mixer for the ingredients, the recipe specifically says only stir it up very lightly, there should be a few lumps left. Second, we don't do this thing with keeping the frying pan cool to avoid bubbles. Shove in some butter then fry those puppies, and it's just fine if they bubble some. If anything, my dad used to tell me you know when it's time to flip by the way the bubbles look, although I seem to do them at a slightly lower temperature so the bubbles don't always come up.
It probably doesn't matter much. But I've noticed that if I take a while making the pancakes and the batter gets more smooth while it sits there, the pancakes aren't quite as good. Almost, but not quite.
