I don't seem to dislike this the way a lot do here. Sure it's slow, but would being on a drip feed week to week 2 arcs ago really have been much better? Relatively speaking, this was over with pretty quick and wouldn't be annoying at all if read in quick succession or binged as with all the former arcs' chapters. Minefield Mahjong was my favorite arc, but I'm not too picky about the content being gambling or whatever just as long as I'm getting that Fukumoto art and writing style.

if the jokes in these chapters were at least half decent it'd be one thing, but... man, i feel bad for the translators having to stick with it through this crap. this is one of the rare times i've ever thought "okay this needs to hurry up and end" about a manga that i used to enjoy. "some rando thinks kaiji's trying to fuck his dog" vs. "endou thinks his boss is trying to fuck him": fight
