@chaceLN I just came from there. I don’t know Japanese, but judging by the first tweets in the thread, there are mainly yuri rofles from the Japanese and a couple of passing by Americans who, without context, thought that Yomu posted a random yuri yonkoma.

@starburst98 @SuperOniichan yeah it feels like a few authors love to yuri bait in harems. I don't get it personally, just make a full yuri manga. I get people getting annoyed as well, as it seems the Japanese normalise it so much. Like it doesn't get considered "cheating" or whatever if it's a girl. They fetishise yuri so much, it's a bit odd. I get it's fanservice to most anyways, but still.

@chaceLN Well, if it were a shoujo, then even female would get ship bait :). While in male-focused manga BL hints are always played for laughs. Otherwise yeah, I know a few manga where the female lead fundamentally fights against harassment and rapists, but when it comes to other girls, it is portrayed as a sexual hot action without much harm. In some manga, you can even see the comedy yuri NTR after the female MC punished male characters for trying NTR just a couple of chapters ago.
