i honetly think there's a serious decline plot wise

all those weird junji ito shit and alien's entertainment aren't actually necessary
go straight to their fight against the main aliens instead of introducing the bad Cgi with weird unexplained ability one.
that'll better in my honest opinion, that's what most readers want anyway.
