Gantz - Vol. 36 Ch. 372 - Where the Missing Mass Goes

so humans are just things and are worth no more than an ant but also souls weigh 21 grams (which is bullshit) and are perpetually reborn
aight

By this logic, those ants that were talked about would have also had a soul, just much lighter. I guess.

Gantz balls are just convenient plot device at this point. Its functionality changes whenever the author needs to create or discard a situation.
21 grams thing is, as someone says, pretty bs, and Kishimoto and Kurono's relationship is pretty much non-existent. The old Kurono (current one doesn't give a damn) only cared about Kishi's body, and Kishi treated Kurono as if he didn't even exist.
The aliens also treated "souls/information" as indestructible. However, by creating clones, the aliens also showed that "souls/information" can be replicated. Essentially, it is something that can be created but not destroyed, which contradicts their earlier method of proving that humans are simply things (a faulty method in the first place, but anyway). They couldn't/didn't destroy the information when trying to prove their point.

Yeah the one thing I have hated is the totally inconsistent rules concerning the Gantz balls

Holy fuck so many contradictions in plot holes. Most people just nitpick to nitpick but @Trevelyan actually makes good points and gives proof and reasoning for his argument. And its a real shame since before the Katastrophe this series has been S tier.

I got some good idea to comment but i'm so exhausted and sleepy
maybe next time if i got the time and idea

and some of the comments below are interesting enough
