GATE - Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri - Ch. 100

@daywithoutgames, if you prefer reading those kinds of stories, why not go find the stories you prefer instead of complaining about how you don’t like this kind of story?

And no, a military having a policy of not allowing their citizens to be tortured or enslaved is not “racist”, at least not to a rational person.

Damn that headshot was nice, and pretty overkill to use a anti-material rifle for that lol. Even shooting the torso would have been lethal with that.
Also it's pretty nice to see an actual competent commander on the enemy side for once, ironically he's one that's not completely loyal to the empire either and looks to actually care for his men. From the looks of things there's a chance he might switch sides or defect, since if I recall he serves the lord of that domain not really the empire.

Extraction Point up to D? Bruh why Not Set up just 2 and an Expendable Land Vehicle like 2 Jeeps with LMG for Getaway until Chopper?

down to point d? seems to show that the enemy is getting better in predicting how japan acts

i guess the japanese nationalist author wants to send this message : japan invaded the isekai for SELF-DEFENSE . see ? see ? can you see? our army 's name is SDF = SELF DEFENSE FORCE . and the name of my novel is Gate - thus the SDF massacre / slaughter innocent peoples there , in the isekai .

i guess the isekai peoples will show their gratitudes to the japan soldiers soon , lol .

I like that the Empire soldiers are trying to imitate the modern japanese soldiers by using Camo covers on their helmets and then Camo ponchos.
Also wtf is @daywithoutgames problem? If he/she does not like this manga, why not fuck off? Nobody here cares what you say.

@lololi1 .. so you that narrow minded people too huh... okay lets say just carpet bomb or napalm .. in another world that will end that war to an end ... but that will bring more conflict and politic into our world

you know International Sanction ? ... and justification for all out war against Japan to protect other ( in this case the people from that world ) ... so using small forces is the most maximum with how Big Technology gap there are , is what you can do without triggering other country rage

well it differs on law, persons who governs, japan government, another government, UN, NATO, and other huge public and private groups. well who knows there's new laws on that japan (well let's say you can do all sorts of freaking stuff just no human rights and innocent could be in danger) but BTW you had a point tho

I've been enjoying this manga since day 1, but to be honest I would like to see more of Itami's adventures/shenanigans or more of the special region's internal conflicts like the siege at the Jade Palace. All of this "haha JSDF go boom" is starting to get stale.

@Kalamel

You aren't only one. I believe there was someone in universe expressed the same thought. Answer? Reassemble the disassembled planes.

That's easier said than done. Planes aren't made of Legos. There's a certain level you can disassemble a plane before it has to go back to the factory to be rebuilt. Sure, the wings can come off and be attached again on a lot of aircraft by military service technicians, but the vertical tail is one of those assemblies that typically require the assembly factory floor.

@SlurpNoodle

Well, months old already but let's me explain. I think you misunderstand me when I said "in universe". That mean a character said it. That whole phase about "reassemble the plane" WAS said by a character, which means it's already a truth in-universe. For it to be wrong means author was wrong. It isn't my assumption, at least as I can remember. Sadly I can't find the chapter so no, I'm saying this without solid evidence other than my memory, which is not quite a good, I admit.

But from military logistics, I think it is very reasonable to do so. Long details on my thought in the spoiler.
Iirc, again, one of the requirements for aircraft carrier cargo plane is that it must be able to carry F35 engine. That's an example of how important on-site replacing is, especially when damaged plane obviously unable to fly itself back to factory. Empenage is a very important part and should be replaceable when damaged beyond repair. It also isn't carrying as much loading as wing and. I don't know exact model of that cargo plane but it should be in class of tactical transport. Most of planes in that class are expected to be operated at less developed airfields (don't know about JSDAF since they have no offensive policy) so the repair, or reassemble should be easier than the most. That means if they need some infrastructure, I expect it to be easily assembled on site too.

Sorry for long reply, because I can't just post chapter and pages it was said because I can't find it. I did try, and thank to the new server it's much easier than expected.
