The JSDF has been cool & all, but the Rose Knights & soldiers garrisoning the Jade Palace have been hard-core awesome in this arc. Red-blooded lady knights & grizzled veterans - my kinda people.

@KenshinRyuu reminds me of those total war let's plays where you just hold a bridge/ford and commence a massive meat grinder with ranged units/artillery while the bots try to smush thru the crossing point. you could swear the waters turned red after 30 minutes of canister shot.

But, this being one of few genuinely good isekai aside, author needs to have those women knights tie up their god damn hair. Anyone with long hair can tell you how much a pain in the ass it can be in every day life, let alone in combat. In combat it'd be a fuckin nightmare.

Well, for their operation beyond the gate, JSDF is specifically using old stocks and (almost) mothballed equipment. Its also much better than letting those old weapons rot in weapon storage facility since forever

There is a serious "Curbstomping Warning" in effect for the next few minutes around the Jade Palace. Imperial casualties are expected to be high due to the shit kicking, ass whupping, massacre and genocide caused by the storm of Japanese forces blowing through the area.
