Some things I've always wondered:
1. How is yuuji able to carry the rory and her halberd?
2. How does a bunch of C4s, handheld anti-tank rockets and magically thrusted swords defeat the fire dragon if artillery bombardment, the anti-tank missiles carried by the cobra, missiles and high explosive AP shells carried by the F-4 just barely damage the baby dragons?

2: From what i heard, all dragons has their own body characteristics, for example just say that Dragon 1 weak against B but strong against A, and Dragon 2 weak against A but strong against B or just something like that.
It's just my poor answer.

@ZdrytchX i cant answer #1 but
#2 : the adolescent dragons probaby had better blast resistance than the elder dragon .
The elder dragon was probably quite malnourished with brittle scales and little fat and muscle due to it just waking up after hibernation.
The adolescent dragons where being raised by someone, as such they where probably in better shape and had tougher scales/hide.
The flying dragons probably where specially breed by the empire to have strong belly protection to protect from arrows so it would be natural that the scale are thicker and stronger.
The elder dragon basically got hit by a giant claymore pointed at its stomach where as the adolescent dragons got hit by SRAAMs (which have a relatively low explosive mass where i doubt it will do much damage besides disorienting them), 20mm rounds(which probably didnt do much due to the fact they are high explosive),155mm High explosive shells(assuming it was impact fuses) would probably fuck up their backs with the explosive shockwave but im pretty sure the better muscle mass, fat and hide will absorb most of it which is definitely a mortal wound but they would still be alive for a bit the anti tank missiles use a shaped charge to go through armor so it would definitely kill them

Uhh, wtf? An explosion by a jet missile does not instantly kill or severely injure an adolescent dragon, nor does multiple tank rounds?! Wtf is this?! It took over a full barrage of tank rounds, and some aerial vehicle missiles to kill 2 adolescent dragons, yet the Elder Dragon was killed by swords and C4s?! Bull. Fucking. Shit. I get that the Flame Dragon was weakened earlier with its arm blown off by a rocket, but an Elder Dragon is still stronger than a younger dragon. Even if it’s malnourished, it’s still stronger as the scales still gets stronger and stronger as they age.
The argument that the flame dragon is malnourished can be tossed out, as we’ve seen multiple times that the dragon eat people, whats to say that it also hunts bigger beasts to eat for food? It had enough time to eat to regain strength.
Regardless, this is just another case of the author’s Bad Contradicting Writing. Or...possibly discarding all logic for the sake of the “rule of cool” aka in this case “Nationalism”.

WHAT IS WITH THIS POWER SCALING and INCONSISTENCY?
Oh....and at the end, Itami gets a ton of rewards and commandments from the General, including the giant Diamond. And they can’t get rid of Itami after getting them, so they have to just assign him a new assignment, despite him disobeying a major order....
Geez, talk about plot armor. Once again Itami gets special privileges no one else can get because he’s the authors super speecul Self-Insert Character.

heres the thing
the panzerfaust is not using just the usual HE(High Explosive) rocket, it uses a HEAT warhead(High Explosive Anti Tank), is a type of shaped charge explosive that uses the Munroe effect to penetrate thick tank armor.

yup i agree... exept for a few things
1: while an aim-9 wont kill a dragon is more than enough to knock one to the gound if it gets a direct hit
2: there are ap rounds mixed into m61 vulcan belts

1 air to air missiles don't have much explosive mass it would be like me throwing a few tacks at you and smacking you in the face
2 those arent tanks they are SPGs . they don't have any armor-piercing rounds(to my knowledge) and while their shells can definitely kill them it wouldn't be instant(unless it was a head shot which fucks up the brain).
3 eating a person would be alkin to you eating an ant but yes it could hunt other larger animals...though scales (especially of that size) would take a while to shed and grow.
4 as i said befor itami basically made a giant sharp claymore by layering swords on top of the piles of c4. besides the bellies of most reptiles are softer than their backs(though this could be the opposite with dragons) ... the explosion would 100% be enough to cause serious internal bleeding from the belly and then you got a bunch of swords shooting up and poking holes up there... if the internal bleeding alone didn't kill the, the draining would probably cause it to bleed out
5 yeah that scene of the arm coming off is wrong as that rocket should only put a hole in the arm

Thanks for giving me a proper rebuttal/Explanation on what's going in, I'd admit i am not familiar with the technology that was shown so i am at fault here. It's just so strange to me that C4s were more effective at taking down dragons then Artillery rounds lol.
