Geesen Shoujo to Ibunka Kouryuu - Ch. 4 - Noticed anything?

5 years is pedo? Doesn't seem that bad to me. Its just 5 years. Imagine 30 years down the line when they are 43 and 48. Doesn't sound as bad right? So why should 13-18 be wrong?

@potatofood its getting hard to determine whether its the result of 1st chapter queue or just plain trolling though. I mean, this is already readable but a few stuff that came out no less than 6 hrs ago still give me "This chapter is unavailable"

Oh hey, good to see it finally made its way up.

Looking at my timestamps, it looks like I tried to upload it at about 2:40PM, and the first comments of people able to read it were at... around 11:20PM, so about eight and a half hours for the admins to make sure I'm not uploading anything prohibited. (I thought it was actually going to take a few days.)

Pretty good first translation for yet another wholesome chapter in this wholesome manga.

I know that in japan and other countries it's not like that, but in my country, 13-18 is acutally highschool age (obv 13 being a 1st year and 18 last year)
Now, some might say that it's pedo...and i understand, society tell us that if you're 13 you're a kid and if you're 18 you're a grown ass adult...but 5 years is not that big of a gap
If he was 38 i'd understand, they could be father and daughter, but it's not like they're gonna bang on their next "date"....just read about how a girl and a boy will probably fall in love without having other thoughts

anyone who's saying that it isn't creepy for an 18 year old to be romantically interested in a 13 year old needs to seriously re-evaluate their life choices, even if they are just drawings on a page
5 years isn't a big gap if you have 2 people who are adults, but this is a child and an adult
as always, the rule is half your age + 7

The age difference isn't that bad, haven't you ever heard of the divide by 7 add 2 rule?

Or was it the other way around?

I wouldn’t be ok with this age gap in real life, but it’s fiction, so it’s not that big a deal. I thought they’d be more closer in age though. The author could have at least made her a high schooler, around 16-17 years old.

I think those of you worrying about the age gap are ignoring the actual contents of the manga. He doesn't seem interested in her romantically, but seems more worried about her as an adult worrying about a child. She is interested in him, definitely, but if you think it's unusual for a 13yo to have a crush on an older person you obviously missed what was going on during that age period of your life. It's a very common occurrence.

Idk why the author decided to make the ml 18, I guess we (hopefully) won’t see any real romantic developments

LET'S FUCKING

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Japanese people seem to have an unhealthy obsession with Westerners. Ever notice how every single love interest or sidekick has the same eye and hair color? All of them are blond, and blue-eyed. Not all Westerners have blond hair and blue eyes. The Japanese people are extremely fixated on these two physical features.

This manga is off-putting because of the characters. Lily Baker? Totally just your average British girl. Wow, glorious Japanese macho man made this young foreigner girl love him! Ah well, I'm sure this is going to be the same as any other romcom judging by how the story is developing. Bye.

i was hoping the dude was some kid in his early teens with a part time job, but he's 18
