To be fair, they do pair them in the comic, specially in the merchs so it's not like the ship came out of nowhere. It's not really a problem of their personality matching or not lol
All the characters interactions are good regardless of ship. Mikoshiba with Sakura, Hori and Nozaki, Nozaki and his editor, Seo and Nozaki and go on. Sensei is good at making characters interacting well.
But yeah, the magazine wouldn't be so keen to go to that route ....

well, i can see what you meant by that...

I just hate it when fans/readers/outsiders force something that's aren't the creator's aim from the get go onto the work itself... espc if it got genre changed solely from fandom pressure and not actual author's decision...

the merch are something out of the author's control, they just maybe get some royalties out of it.

another thing, the need to overly-sexualize the actually non sexualize interaction/relation of two characters like bromance warped into BL, same goes for yuri.... if the work IS in the genre from the get go, I don't mind one bit.

so yeah, that's mostly where my prev comment came from... lol
