Genkai Level 1 kara no Nariagari: Saijaku Level no Ore ga Isekai Saikyou ni Naru made - Vol. 1 Ch. 1 - the weakest

Did that girl just casually vault a goddamn fence or did she phase through it or what am I looking at here, artist?

as edgy as absorbtions sounds.... its still just another isekai.... and im going to read it.

i think his big weakness is a skill that gets stronger based on the level gap of the target and the caster.. Level Smite or something.. i forgot what it's called..

This was written right out of the Isekia guide book I guess. minus truck-kun.
and we know noting about the girl he was saving or why he was saving.......

lol at being instantly executed, Human life has no value then ?

Ah yes, MEME. Truly the parents are cultured.

And did he get the Corpse Absorption ability because he looked like a half dead human when he got isekai'd?

It would be easier in literally every regard to just kick him out and leave him to his own devices. Doesn't get much more contrived than this. That + the machine translation... ugh. Give me back my 1 minute.

@feha Yeah this really irks me too. I assume that there is some cost to summon heroes. So killing him would incur a loss. Even if he didn't meet the requirements of what they wanted (for combat), it doesn't mean he couldn't be of some use, somehow, somewhere else. They could have made him a civil servant (page/scribe, researcher, mathematician, assistant), or for more manual labor as a servant. At the very least they could have made him a slave and sold him. Then they would be able to recoup some of their investments. It just seems so wasteful and narrow sighted.

@Kanol I was thinking this too. My guess is the manga cut out the part where he helped her over the fence, but didn't have time to climb himself.
so 50 goblins are equal to 1 dragon. Trash dragon.
-whyCannot

Depends on what stat you are looking at. 20 gobs for health, 50-100 for normal stats, 10 for skill points but definitely no skills. So maybe it is right considering how good the skill was. Also does quality of corpse play any effect to absorption?

Edit: So there is clearly a difference between level and max level cap "level limit". Most of this chapter they have been talking about the max lvl not the actual lvl of the individual. I'm pretty sure this is a translation error.

Hate the recycled-ness of it. Corpse absorb is cool but MC seems very weak& stupid. He had to ask the voice on what he should do in a situation where there's really only one option. WTF.

Page 36 will keep me reading next chapter.

So, doesn't seem like it'll amount to much, pretty textbook, very rushed, sudden MC personality change/ruthless calm, and the artwork does not make up for it. The last panel was a nice image, though, so will go for a few more chapters, because I'm a sucker for isekai.

So... It's Arifure's ripped-off with horrible writing, huh? (And I don't think Arifure has good writing to begin with)

They need to stop the trope of throwing away people that don't meet their expectations. And instead they should host investagation on if they have some ability that compensates for it.

@0bserv
This is probably a novel adaptation and it seems like a pretty rushed one too, not to mention the broken English.
I still appreciate the translation.
