@Add1152000 for one, it wasn't the guys that tried to kill him that denied paying the reward money. for two, it's suspicious as hell when someone shows up at level one and beats someone 20~30x their level one sided-ly, it's pretty natural to suspect they have some skill that conceals their stats rather than that a level 1 actually managed to easily win such an unbalanced a 3 vs 1...though I do have to wonder how legit of an establishment they run to set up such a match in the first place. and for three, I thought it was less of a "oh I didn't need the money anyways" and more of a "I really want my money, but it's not worth making enemies out of local mob and/or authorities just to get one fight's worth of money when we still have other options"

The panel where the guy was like “I'm not giving you any money” reminded me of Spider-man movie. I mean the part where after he beat the wrestler he was refused to get the full amount of money

cool, yet another doormat MC. I understand there's a difference in values at play but fuck man, why is it so rare to have an MC that will stand up for themselves. This is why I read more manhua and manhwa now. Even if its over the top with the arrogance at least those characters have self-respect.
what is up with japan and their bitch mc's with no fucking spine. i get being spineless when you are weak but have some bloody clue about your current ability/power and grow a pair. just for this aspect alone korean and chinese mc's are better, even if they sometimes come off as edgy its better than being a pussy.
