Geovishaps are bugged and currently do not take damage from bows as a result of a nonstatic hitbox.
Basically a Geovishap's hitbox becomes untethered when it rears up for attack upon approach, meaning archers cannot hit it whatsoever once a Geovishap has been aggroed.

It's for people who actually thought the slow-as-molasses gameplay of it was fun and wanted to challenge themselves. Anyways, I'm all done with this event. Now I know far more about all the unremarkable NPCs of bizarro China than I would ever care for and not one peep from a playable character aside from Xiao. Hooray.

Her C0 is stronger than C6 Diluc.
C6 Ganyu allows for machine gun Frostflake arrows, no it’s not a bug, miHoYo intended that and they worded the constellation weirdly.
Ganyu is the strongest character in the game and will most likely only be topped in 2 or 3 years...
She’s also the hottest character.

If you are just relying on a single carry obviously you shouldn't ascend just yet, but there's not much of a difference in terms of difficulty and rewards.
