@Richman probably at the start of 1.2 then. Not too much has changed unless you like playing geo characters as they got some pretty nifty buffs. You can just hop in whenever new content comes out, there's no real need to play hard until you burn out due to how world level works.

All of the Pyro characters have an unfortunate story but they became lovable powerhouses...
Liyue goes from being controlled by a hyperstrict old dude (Zhongli=Mao) to being controlled by whimsical sadgirl who is strong despite her sad backstory (Hu Tao=Jinping)
It fully mirrors China's self-image.

Meanwhile all of the Cryo characters are people who are holding themselves back in some degree for a moronic reason...
Inazuma goes from being controlled by isolationist power hungry monarchs (Baal=feudal Japan) to a country held hostage by what I assume is a false sense of fealty (Ayaka=post WW2 Japan)
This is exactly how China sees Japan nowadays...

This game might actually turn out to be CCP propaganda. I'm not even mad.

Pretty much.
Mondstadt seems to represent how freedom and over individuality can cause everyone to become lazy and hedonic and over reliant on a central government.
Venti can be seen as post WW2 Germany.

Snezhnaya seems to represent classical “communist” interpretations of suffering for the collective good.
The Tsaritsa can be seen as Putin.

In game Russia from in game China’s perspective seems to be working towards a decently “good” goal, undermining Celestia.

Celestia can be interpreted as the US from China’s POV due to its apparent “overreach and tyranny.”

All in all, kind of curious to see how this all plays out.

Fontaine (France analogue) is supposed to be hyper justice oriented and apparently gives off the feel of it all being fake.

I wouldn’t be surprised if China uses Fontaine to criticize the baizhou.

I was going to post hype about the upcoming bonus drop event for ley line blossoms, but...

During the event, Travelers who successfully challenge a Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation and who consume Original Resin to obtain rewards will receive double the output. A total of 3 such bonuses will be available each day!

I understand that they probably don't want me to blow my 50+ fragiles on this so I never have to grind exp books for the rest of the year. Still pretty damn stingy of them though.
