I assume the glowing segment on the bamboo was the new guardian deity before blooming w/e
Does "I slugged him" always translate to being someone being shot?

Also, the plot about the half siblings and his dad is gonna be rushed, isn't it? I love this sepisodic chapters but they did introduce that plot so....

Judging by the chapter titles there won't be that many chapters about that plotline, I don't imagine Yuu is going to surpass his father and get back the eye because this really isn't that kind of manga to begin with.

There are 2 chapters in this volume and at least another 2 in the final volume regarding that plotline.
