Getting an update for a Manga already marked "Completed"

I'm not aware if this has been a feature in Mangadex (not a lot of opportunities have arrived for me to have it tested).
So, let me ask, is there any notification system (in the Follows tab) for Manga which are marked as "Completed"? If not this would be a good feature to have here.
The reason for asking about it is simple. There was an instance where, a Manga which has Ended here (on Mangadex), got an update. Like an Omake, or Extra, or as special, or etc (don't remember). Since, I didn't mark it as "Completed" (because of the apprehension regarding above), I was notified about the update.
But, what happens, if I've "Completed" a manga and it gets an update and I'm not notified about it??!

Nope. You’re right. Updates only appear on your follows page if you’re reading status is set to reading. Not just you. I’d love this feature as well.

i don't know about you Holo but i do not check for updates on ones that i have marked as completed. The recent hentai title uploaded by ixlone did not pop up in my follows. Sure it pops up in the completed tab when i sort by last updated...... but who looks there for an unread chapter?

The gist of this request is to have it automatically be removed from "completed" and back into "reading" There is just simply no point in checking for updates on a "completed" manga. BUT, if there was an update for an omake, bonus chapter, or changing from oneshot to a series. then it only makes sense that you would want the readers to know about this and not have it lost in the "completed" tabs (this just happened for me with your own groups release today. If i never caught it on the front page i never would have known.

P.S. the default on the last updated tab is set to "reading" maybe it should be set to "all"

@Holo That's one way to be informed about it but not an efficient way. I would accept what @Assasinart said above. At the least, I would like to get notified (like any other manga marked as "Reading") in the Follows tab, if not the whole shifting the Manga from "Completed" to "Reading" whenever a chapter is updated.

What @Assasinart proposed in the last line

is a promising feature request. You may provide the users the means in the settings to change according to what they desire to be notified about. I can propose in a feature request if you find this plausible.
