re-reading the 1st chapters : so in the future , they have technology that enables fly , tech that makes humans bigger , but no tech that makes indestructible human bodies ?

all 5 USA heroes are dead , and the old japanese man was even dead from a simple , lame car crash .

with their tofu bodies , how can they even hope to win against the giant monsters ?
