compared to hiroya's other works, this story feels so oddly paced and surreal. not sure if he's setting up something for down the line or if it's just fanservice
Beyond the obvious fanservice, I think the storyline is pretty interesting, if not predictable. It's combining elements of his two previous works; the absurdity of the unknown in Gantz and the irrationality of the human condition in Inuyakishi. Put a likeable and sincere female lead who's an AV actress with massive surreal titties and a male lead with a lot of room for growth :^), it has the ingredients for, if anything, an entertaining story.
Yamada is one of the most accurate depictions of pretentious teenage boys I've ever read. So many think they are the cool Gantz protag, but actually are this guy. Face it, Chiho-chan is the real hero.
Excited for the next chapter of this. Even if I am a little down on the series it is fun enough, and it definitely could go into some crazy places knowing the author.
