I feel like these kinds of developments are so rare. So often yuri authors will try to keep all of the characters "pure" and will shy away from addressing things that real teenage girls do like drinking or having sex so I always become way more invested in a story when stuff like that comes up. It sorta helps me trust that the author is more interested in telling a good story than pleasing everyone
