That's correct. In fact, there are T-Dolls that actually have opinions *against* the guns they're assigned to, such as Mosin Nagant (initially) or Thunder. And then there are some T-Dolls who only receive a particular weapon only because it's the only thing available to imprint with, such as UMP45. However this imprinting system is only to allow them to use and sense their assigned weapons like it was part of their own body. It doesn't prevent them from using other weapons though, such as all the T-Dolls that can use handguns for sidearms, and melee weapons (CZ75 in particular seems to prefer her axe over her handgun).

Oh my. According to Chinese raws, on Page 17 45's line "416, remember to give your heart and soul to them, okay?" is actually 45 joking about how 416 should oath the commander. (记得要以身相许哦）
