Oh man I am loving the parallels her story has to the Bolsheviks taking over Russia. The little hints of communism are a nice touch, and add a lot of nuance to the story. The author knows how to weave history into the narrative.

She must've reformed Kuromorimine a gell lot if the current team is a lot lile the ones we see here.

Also, is that supposed to be Assam at the last page?

I like how Nonna and Katyusha are not as 'mature' as they are in future series. Nonna has a bit of closet hot headedness and Katyusha seems to be a bit more playful. Then again, you have to wonder how she played around during that match with Miho if she was like this in her early years.
