maybe the wn has more details, but i'm not seeing how the original body benefited so much from getting merged with random Chinese guy. he's contributing with knowledge from TV shows? first couple chapters mentioned a dark spirit and "twin souls", but it didn't explain much.

Would have made more sense for his new spirit to be from a dying master or something.
I fail to understand how someone from the modern world could provide more insight and strength into martial arts.
