On their website, there is another page between 8 and 9. It shows the Lin Feng stabbing Chen Xing in the back as he tries to flee him, followed by Chen Xing saying with his final breaths that the prince will not let him live and that he has a bounty out for Lin Feng's head. It's actually Chen Xing saying "You will die a painful death" in the first panel of page nine. This is also what props Lin Feng to state he is a wanted man to "Meng Qing".

Anyway, I hope we can get over this "the destruction of the sect" part, this is getting rather long for something's that's a detail in the LN, I understand why this author wants to make it a bit bigger since it's indeed something that's overlooked in the LN but come on, there's a limit.
