@Miyuki it's passive. He just passively has like 10x 100x everyone else's comprehension speed. He's doing in 1 year what people take their whole lives learning. Also, the celestial book's comprehension speed boost is only the first page. There are other pages to unlock in the future.

Celestial Book will have 5 pages: Next one is a sword, one after is a flame, then an empty space and finally a small world. Last is most useful.

Meng Qing has actually shown interest in him for a while now - she smiles at him (she smiles at no one else) and she constantly protects him even saying no one will hurt him whilst she's here. The tell me stories she often says is because she lived alone for 1000 years in a mountain range and so wants to get close to MC by listening to stories. She was also jealous when Liu Fei came. MC will be first to start showing intimate affection within the next 100 chapters but this is a harem novel so there will be a few more love interests that pop up. Meng Qing is my favourite though and she can be considered main waifu for the reader.
