Fuckin thank you. So much of the time in these kinds of stories set in some past time the MC just takes it in stride that people are now property and can be traded and treated as such. Sure, it might be the rules of the world you're in and they might decide they have to accept it to survive, but come on, what kind of psychopath would they have to be to have been raised with 21st century ethics and yet not bat an eye at the trading of human lives.
It's a radical opinion, but I for one am against slavery and can't find someone who's openly pro-slavery to be likeable or worth cheering on. Crazy, I know.

@Ruruskadoo... Dude I was thinking the same thing and made a "sort of" comment last chapter. I also agree. I mean I would say as I am a women, if I did actually time-travel to a different era or Ancient China. I would want to be a man.. No doubt about it. No matter what type of woman you are, you never really hold ANY power unless you are actually like a loved empress (with an emperor alive) because women are traded like cattle
