It's nice to see such a supportive decent non-harem group of teammates, it's pretty rare to find among the isekai fantasies. Usually the teammates are either toxic immature irresponsible, betrayers, straight up villains in disguise, braindead idiots, or charmed female harem/slave... So this is good I hope they stay with MC instead of the original mmorpg friends MC had from their original world. I wonder what role the friends have in the story, like if they will eventually fight MC or not, brainwashed to be tools of villains, or killed suddenly in a twist/conspiracy, kinda hard to tell what the direction is for now.

To be fair, the chapters in the web novel are short, only like 3 or 4 pages long. Like, fewer than 1000 words. But yeah, it does kind of make one wonder if anything will ever be resolved.

The manga version seems to actually cover more ground, because in the web novel, none of the stuff from the rest of the MMO friends' perspective is shown yet.
