I disagree with you until now the only people i saw he kill were bandits, pretense yakuza, and some soldiers, i don't think he is petty enough or cares for the opinions of those grunts enough to kill them because of some insult, he did it as a showing of strength nothing more nothing less, however... you are right too, he IS crazy but seriously who in this godforsaken story isnt?

@manganights Actually, they did sort of explain it. When Sugimoto accused him of just deluding himself, they zoomed in on Ienaga's face and it looked there was some makup crumbling off, revealing wrinkles underneath, implying that Sugimoto was right. (Chapter 53, Pages 8/9)
