Even if he does get lipo, he still has a lot of complications that was caused due to his morbid obesity. Fat in his heart, blood vessels, liver, ETC.

Lipo doesn't get rid of fat that's in the liver, blood vessels, heart, ETC. Places where fat can do a lot of damage. Lipo is mainly a cosmetic surgery, not for weight loss.

I do wonder if he has gotten a gastric bypass surgery. Although, we do know that one of the factors to his morbid obesity is a psychological need to binge eat because food = happiness in his mind. Athane is helping curb that dopamine rush.


Also, in the end, i would imagine it would be healthier overall to just instill a diet and have the weight be lost naturally.
