Dude, unless there's some additional, poor interaction that happened after the assault and rape that we don't know about (to which I wouldn't be surprised a single bit, if the author 'conveniently' left that out for the audience), then you warned her more than once what would happen and she made the choice to get involved regardless, and you even tried to rescue her. You don't owe her any apology.
