Guild no Cheat na Uketsukejou - Ch. 13

She's such a boring main character, also they made her/him a former man reincarnated with all his previous memories but it never pops up in the story at all.

Well S(he) seems to have already adventured before and decided she's too OP and could significantly destabilize the world (as in using her full powers would mess up the elemental balance) so she switched to nudging people around to fix problems with a reasonable power level.

I think Ilya giving the detail on ice dragon weakness & behavior to the adventurer, because of that they can fight with such efficiency and not suffering any casualties

So we are just straight up ignoring the reason why the dragon all of a sudden decided to move and make its new habitat the city.

Wait, so did its neck get snapped, or did it impale itself on its wing spike?

@sedition "She's such a boring main character, also they made her/him a former man reincarnated with all his previous memories but it never pops up in the story at all."
She's the only reason why they were successful in this fight as no one else knew anything about dragons. Basically what she did was to pretty similar to preparing a strategy guide so that adventurers could face the dragon.

@TheGodEmperor
Honestly would not surprise me if it did. There is bairly any rhyme or reason for whely events happen, minimal world building. The flow is all over the place. In the same chapter we got 2 time skips, where they were not transitioned well at all, and done for no apparent reason other than for giving another info dump and to rush through and force the end of the arc.

The MC is basically the equivalent of a background character with a bit more screen time. Also, the fact that the MC is someone who was reincarnated/isekai'd is irrelevant, along with the gender-bending aspect. It seems like that was done only to allow for the tag, and to include a personal fetish of the author. It never comes up as being plot relevant at all.

Honestly, the 2 thiefs are a better MC/FMC pair. The real MC has actually just become a guild receptionist, and has an appropriate amount of shit given about her (which is minimal). Everytime she does something we learn of it through some round about way, or only see the results and her after thoughts. She has 0 personality, and no character depth to speak of aside from being a walking wikipedia page for everyone else.

I mean I'm not hating on this or the guy translating...but so far this story doesn't make much sense.

@JavelinJoe Yea, I do agree it's got some pacing/flow issues and presentations problems. I do like the idea of the MC though and premise, just a pity the premise seems squandered. I don't think this got axed though. I would prefer it not though cause rather get a proper full story that was intended.
